27 April 2015: Scandem selects Brady software for Energy Trading and Risk Management

27th April 2015, London: Brady, the leading global provider of trading, risk management and settlement solutions to the energy, commodities and recycling sectors, announced today that Swedish power supplier, Scandem has chosen Brady’s Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) solution to support its power trading and risk management operations.

Headquartered in Örebro, Sweden, Scandem also has operations in Norway and Finland. Scandem provides intelligent energy procurement services to large energy consumers and producers by offering them direct access to the power market and managing their physical and financial contracts. Its customers include power utilities and generators where Scandem handles the sale of electricity provided by the Nord Pool power exchange, NASDAQ or through the OTC market.

Brady ETRM manages financial derivatives and physical energy commodities and will benefit Scandem by providing unrivalled support for the Nordic market and its associated instruments across electricity, emissions, certificates, CFDs and currencies.
