European Energy at the Heart

Brady Technologies is gearing up for a bigger than ever presence at E-world this year. Naheed Manickavasagar, Marketing Manager talks about what to expect.

E-world is fast approaching, and the Brady team is looking forward to engaging with customers, prospective customers, and partners from across the region in Essen. Personally, this event has always been a highlight for me. I remember my first E-world experience back in 2005 when I started my career in this sector, and the preparation process remains as exciting as ever.

Last year, our main objective was to welcome CRisk, our cloud-based credit risk management solution, and Igloo, our SaaS ETRM platform, into the Brady family and introduce them to the E-world community. This year, we’re going to showcase our comprehensive suite of solutions for European energy markets, covering all the core elements of the energy trading value chain. Brady’s product experts for ETRM, power scheduling, short-term power trading, algorithmic trading, credit risk and physical power trading operations, will be demonstrating the latest releases.

E-world is an integral part of our marketing strategy this year. We’ve opted to invest in a larger presence in the centre of Hall 3, to emphasise Brady’s focus on European energy markets.

Then and Now

Brady’s journey started in 2010 in Norway, one of Europe’s front-runners in renewables trading. From our first acquisition in the European ETRM software space to our most recent product development initiatives, we’ve grown into a recognised leader in our field.

The past 12 months have brought a series of achievements for Brady. Our short-term power trading solution ‘PowerDesk’ won a prestigious Energy Award and our customer base expanded considerably, winning 11 new logos. Furthermore, our ‘Energy Data Manager’ platform for physical power trading operations was the first software solution to go live in a regional regulation market milestone.

In July of last year, we made a significant strategic move by selling our metals and ags CTRM business. This decision has allowed us to concentrate solely on energy markets and expedite the delivery of our product roadmaps for our energy customers.

Now we are 100% focused on energy, E-world is even more of a perfect fit for us.
