Brady Technologies shortlisted as a finalist at the 2022 Energy Awards

Brady Technologies has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories at this year’s prestigious Energy awards.  The annual Energy Awards celebrates the achievements of the energy industry in innovation and imagination, best practice and business excellence, customer service and collaboration.

This is the second year in a row that Brady PowerDesk, the European SaaS short-term power trading platform, has been nominated in the category for Digital Innovation of the Year: Data, Insight and Dashboards. Furthermore, this year the Brady PowerDesk team has been shortlisted for the Energy Champion of the Year award, designed to reward the teams that have made a demonstrable impact on the energy industry.

Chris Regan, Business Lead – Short-Term Power Trading at Brady Technologies says, “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for two awards this year. This fantastic news coincides with a major customer go-live. We are a group of traders, that have had an amazing opportunity to design something that fills a current gap in the market that will reinforce the business cases for decarbonisation, decentralisation, algorithmic trading and the movement of the energy consumer into the energy prosumer.”

PowerDesk, Brady’s latest exciting SaaS software solution provides traditional players and new entrants in European power trading markets to:

– Extend into short-term markets and begin trading more flexible assets such as hydro and batteries.
– Move from a legacy carbon intensive portfolio to trading the intermittency of renewables.
– Move towards trade automation, algorithmic trading and advanced optimisation.

The Energy Awards will take place on the 29th June at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
